To Glue or Not to Glue?

I don’t have any real training in woodworking but I do know enough to be able to make nesting boxes and a few other things like work benches. The only training I got was from my father and from High School woodworking classes. The thing that has stuck with me since those woodworking classes was the importance of using glue to join two pieces of wood together.
The questions and comments that I got on an 8 minute video of me putting together a budgie box made me aware that a lot of people don’t use glue so in the video “To Glue, or Not to Glue” I demonstrate that nails just hold the timber in place until the glue has had time to set and I show the strength of PVA glue.
So after watching my video on glue, I hope you now understand why glue is so important.
